Looks like there’s a new scandal and the honor belongs to the Tourism Ministry, where PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) audit differs from the books within the Kumpulan Pampena company, a subsidiary of the Tourism Ministry.
The PWC audit reports that the government linked subsidiary have 6 out of 24 companies that invested in Kumpulan Pampena, which doesn’t have any financial statements and 3 only have partial information regarding its financial well-being.
Ipoh Parlimentarian Lim Kit Siang urged the authorities to look into Kumpulan Pampena and Azalina Othman who heads the Tourism Ministry for likely money embezzlement and corruption.
