When former Law Minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim attended events organised by several opposition parties recently, he got the sack by UMNO this Tuesday.
This is good news as Zaid is now free to join PKR or DAP, its really up to him now.
Anwar have been tempting Zaid to join his party ever since he resigned as minister on September 15th, after disagreeing with the detaining of journalist, blogger and an MP by the Government under the ISA few months back.
De facto Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim however knows if he pushed to hard for Zaid appointment into his party, he might just lose him, so he decided to give him “space to reflect after being unceremoniously sacked.”
