It’s been quiet regarding Badawi since he handed over his Prime Minister reign to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, but he’s back.
Not literally, but he was in the media painting a glowing review of his successor.
The 69 year old was grateful for the support and patience that was shown for Najib.
He was quoted, “Alhamdullillah, I am grateful to Allah that the person I chose to replace me has carried out his job well. His support has increased and his (approval) rating improved from 45% to 65%, which means that the policies are well received.”
His comments come in the wake of a recent poll by Merdeka Centre that revealed Najib’s latest approval rating was at an all-time high of 65 per cent.
