Coroner Azmil Muntapha Abas allowed lawyer Gobind Singh Deo’s application to order tests on suspicious stains found at the office of the Selangor office of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Gobind made the application this morning, when the inquest into the sudden death of DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock resumed at 9.55am at the Shah Alam Magistrate’s Court.

The official post-mortem found that Teoh died as the result of internal injuries sustained in a fall. Teoh was found dead on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam, that also houses the Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office on the 14th floor. According to Bernama, Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said police had initially yet to rule out foul play in Teoh’s death, but the case is classified as a ’sudden death’.
