Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib, UMNO information chief has warned the Barisan Nasional should not to be complacent in the pending by-election for the Pensiangan parliamentary seat.
The Pensiangan seat which was won uncontested by ‘Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah’ President Tan Sri Joseph Kurup was deemed null and void by the Election Court on September 8th.
Tan Sri Joseph Kurup has of course filed an appeal.
This ‘opening’ for the parliamentary seat could spell opportunity for the Opposition as they gain ground to topple the federal government majority in the House.
