The Kuala Lumpur High Court has set the date on the 20th November to hear the appeal from prosecutor, to move Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case to the High Court.
The first failed attempt by the prosecution was dismissed by Judge SM. Komathy last Saturday on the grounds that Attorney General of Malaysia, Chief Judge Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail orders for the move was not legitimate under the law.
Anwar’s defense made objections and also voiced out to the Court of not receiving few documents pertaining to the case from the prosecution as promised last week.
The setting of date for Anwar sodomy trial had to be postponed until the hearing of the appeal is finalised.
