Malaysia unemployed figures dropped last month according to Human Resources Minister S Subramaniam. The figures are based on 22,000 lay-offs in March compared to 27,000 in February, indicating “5,000 people who had been retrenched earlier were either reemployed at their old working place or had found new jobs”.
Well that’s still 22,000 people out of jobs and living on the fringes of society, making ends meet for all we know. The below video accounts two workers on their current job situation.
