PKR Wants Royal Veto Power To Be Restored

Parti Keadilan Rakyat President Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail at the party’s fifth national congress, entails PKR plans to “restore the immunity of the royalty in the spirit of constitutional monarchy”.
She says without the royal veto, it gives total absolute power to the Prime Minister.
This means that any type of legislation passed in Parliament will be at the Sultan Agong discretion to reject it.
Wan Azizah also clarifies that bringing royalty into the picture doesn’t covers royal immunity from prosecution, but PKR just wants the dignity of the constitutional monarchy restored.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
