Barisan Nasional deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said opposition MP N. Gobalakrishnan had acted in a provocative manner during the Permatang Pasir by-election nomination, Monday.
Permatang Pauh Umno division secretary Rohaizat Othman, 38, has been chosen the Barisan Nasional candidate for the Permatang Pasir state by-election on Aug 25.
Penang PAS commissioner Salleh Man, 53, has been picked as the party’s candidate for the Permatang Pasir state by-election on Aug 25.
Permatang Pasir is set to be a one-to-one fight between PAS and Umno as the by-election officially kicks off its first day of campaigning after nomination ended at 10am on August 17, 2009.
