Nik Aziz says Muslims smokers “are worse than cows”Published Mar 26th, 2009
Another sensational statement and quote from Pan-Islamic Party (PAS) spritual leader and top Malaysian Muslim cleric Nik Aziz. He says that Muslims smokers “are worse than cows which defecate in the street”. Hilarious but there’s truth to it. Well he was quoted as, “A cow which defecates in the middle of the road, (we) cannot take legal action against it because it has no brain and cannot think.” He added, “But human beings, who have brains, for them to do something which is wrong in religion, when they are in an attire which symbolises Islam, they can be regarded as being more despicable than cows.” In Malaysia the Muslim Islamic body bans smoking, but that’s not stopping half of the Muslim population at 27 million are actually smokers.
