DPM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin slams Anwar
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, UMNO deputy president and BN deputy chairman, who was at the Pagoh MCA annual general meeting at Tanjung Selabu was with the media and was asked of his opinions on Anwar Ibrahim.
Muhyiddin was quoted, “He was even willing to compromise Malay rights as stipulated in the Constitution so he could gain political mileage and support from the non-Malays. This shows that Anwar is willing to do anything and even disregard the feelings of the people, especially the Malays.”
He didn’t stop there of course, he continued said much of the dissension within the Malays was caused by Anwar and co.
Muhyiddin added, “They should know the real Anwar, who is willing to manipulate the people’s sentiments for his own gain … I mention Cherok Tuk Kun in Penang because of Pakatan Rakyat leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who has sold his principles for politics sake.”
The UMNO deputy president was not short of colorful comments on the de facto leader, and says Barison will have reforms, but is he hinting of renewed talks of a unity government?.
Muhyiddin lastly added, “We in Barisan must be seen united and if there is any issue related with policies or the Constitution, we must speak as one to defend the policies or the constitutions. We want to change all these and I have discussed with Barisan leaders who agreed for the new solidarity concept approach.”
