Pakatan Sivarasa Once Again Barred Entering Sarawak

MP for Subang Sivarasa Rasiah was once again barred for the second time in three months from entering Sarawak yesterday.

The KeADILan vice president was visiting Sarawak to brief his KeADILan members, and it seems he wasn’t welcomed there.

When he arrived at the immigration, he was told his name was “blacklisted”, thus unable to enter the East Malaysia state.

Sivarasa commented, “The immigration officers told me my name has been blacklisted from entering Sarawak since three months ago. When I asked why, they just said it was under the instruction of the state government. Because of that, I was forced to return to Kuala Lumpur.”

It is believed chief minister Abdul Mahmud Taib was behind and it is his way to prevent any Pakatan Rakyat leaders to move freely in his state and gain support.

This is not the first time a Pakatan Rakyat member was denied entry into the state, last December MP for Padang Serai N Gobalakrishnan was also banned from entering the state.
