MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat says that Barisan Nasional component parties must be independent and have the autonomy to express their views. He said this when opening the Federal Territories MCA state convention 2009 in Kuala Lumpur Saturday.
Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat is a Malaysian politician and is the current Transport Minister in the Malaysian federal cabinet. He is also the current president of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA). As the president of MCA, he is the third highest politician in Malaysia, behind the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
