Hundreds of police was deployed for the crackdown
19 people have been hauled up and remanded after a stand-off between police and the Opposition in the rallies leading up to the Perak State Assembly earlier today.
The protests was sparked over the convening of state assembly today which will replace the opposition alliance state government, with one of that of the ruling coalition.
