![]() MACC denies that any psychological tactics used on TeohPublished Sep 1st, 2009A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer denied using ‘psychological tactics’ to break DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock during interrogation.
Mohd Ashraf Mohd Yunus said this when testifying at the inquest which is being held to determine Teoh’s cause of death. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) (Malay: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia, (SPRM)) (formerly Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) or Badan Pencegah Rasuah (BPR)) is a government agency in Malaysia that investigates and persecutes corruption in the public and private sectors. The MACC is currently headed by Director-General Haji Ahmad Said bin Hamdan. He was appointed in May 2007 to replace former Director-General Zulkipli Mat Nor. ![]()
