Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Dewan Rakyat shed new light and evidence that the BN bribery and threats is indeed rampant and it involves and leads to the very top of the political chain, straight from Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib office.

He claims that PKR’s Kulim assemblyman Lim Soo Nee was enticed to switched over with a RM5 million bribe while another Kedah assemblyman, Tan Wei Shu received death threats in the form of bullets.

Anwar also shares that he has asked his men to cooperate with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). Despite the wired taps, CCTV recordings of meetings and conversation by the ACA, the de facto leader still awaits any action to be taken.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim Quoted

“They (MACC) have enough time to do it. There is ample incontrovertible evidence to act and prosecute those responsible. You will know at the right time. There is a pattern of kidnapping, threats and bribery that involves Umno leaders right to the top, to the office of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib.

You see what is happening in Selangor and Kedah. They threatened the poor guy (V Arumugam, Bukit Selambau assemblyman) until he had to resign. Is it because he is an Indian that you can treat him that way? He is state exco and you can treat him that way.

He (DPM Najib Razak) wants to prove a point that he is going to be an effective, tough Umno leader. I would support effective tough leaders but not kidnappers and bribers.”
