The debacle at Perak saw few calling for the resignation of PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
It’s trying times for the Opposition government as this is their first major loss, as they had to relinquish their control of a key state of Perak.
It might seems like Pakatan Rakyat is a fragile party these days, but DAP still supports and has Anwar Ibrahim’s back, as stated by DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
Speaking to the press he expressed his shock at DAP very own chairman Karpal Singh’s call for Anwar to be replaced as Opposition Leader.

“This stand will remain as no single leader has ever questioned it during internal meetings, whether at the highest levels or otherwise. The party’s policies can be changed in accordance with the wishes of its members. However, until today, there has not been any requests to question or disturb the basic framework between the component parties in Pakatan. But should any member wish to change them, they are required to use proper channels and not the media.”
