Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd. Yassin (born 15 May 1947) is a Malaysian politician, the current Deputy Prime Minister and the Education Minister of Malaysia.
He is assisted by two Deputy Education Ministers, Datuk Dr. Wee Ka Siong and Datuk Dr. Mohd. Puad Zarkashi.
He is the Deputy President of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), which is the main component party of the ruling coalition Barisan Nasional, hence giving him the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.
