International Herald Tribune did an article on former premier Mahatir Mohamad on his use of a blogging platform (www.chedet.com) to criticise the government and calling for his former successor to step down. Five months on after Mahatir first blogging entry, Abdullah is stepping down next year March and Najib promises reforms to the ruling party. Empty promises? Has Mahatir contribution from his blogging swayed decisions and grew dissension within the Barison Nasional he once firmly held and influenced? Well we may never know, but you can’t deny the fact that the blogosphere has swept and created a political tsunami in Malaysia. It will be a mainstay until reforms or the ‘right thing’ is done
