DPM Najib Denies Abuse Of Power

Malaysia Today has claimed that there is a SMS exchange between Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and former lawyer for Abdul Razak Baginda, who is currently on trial for abetting the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu.

When asked at a media conference, the DPM replied that the Internet allegations against him are baseless.

He responded “What does it matter?”.

Najib added “What is important is that there is no abuse of power. Even the prime minister has clarified the matter”.

Malaysia Today is run by blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin who is currently being detained under ISA and will likely be charged with seditious act and defamation of character.
