Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy case delays
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case will be delayed as his lawyer was feeling unwell.
The High Court here had to delay hearing for DSAI application for the requested documents related to his sodomy case, as the defence counsel Sulaiman Abdullah had left the court for a medical appoinment at Pantai Hospital.
The court will be back in session on Friday to decide to reconvene proceedings or adjourn to another date.
The application for the documents was applied back in June where Anwar’s lawyer cite that the Attorney-General’s Chambers had not provided them with the necessary documents for their defence preparation.
In the application, they have requested medical reports, CCTV recordings, DNA samples, notes, witness statements and related evidence pertaining to the case.
