Malaysian Parliament will be in session today and from his short media conference yesterday at his Hari Raya Open House, he said he will bring up the matters when Parliament reconvenes today, of financial woes in Malaysia and disappointed at the fact that the Finance Minister is in denial over the looming financial crisis if nothing is done to avert the issue.
On the matter of seizing power, he declined to say anything further other than the fact he’ll do it within the constitution and but not ruling out the chances of a no-vote confidence measure. There’s a possibility if his claims of having enough numbers are true, the persuaded lawmakers from BN could switch over today.
Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim
“I will talk about the economic crisis we are facing and the danger we are in because the current finance minister is still in denial. One of the first things will be a review of the budget figures. We need to do that as an urgent matter. We cannot work on obsolete figures that is not realistic and does not reflect the economic fundamentals. We will continue to take necessary steps and at the time when it is right, we will see a change.”
