The judge presiding today, Judge SM Komathy Suppiah will decide if the current sodomy case against Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim will be transferred to the high court as requested by the prosecution.
After a disappointing few sessions in Dewan Rakyat in recent days, where the Opposition walked out and the usual debarment of MPs, I’m hoping for some good news.
If the case is moved to the High Court, Anwar defense claims that he will be given a biased judge and a likely unfair trial.
