![]() Anwar denies rift in Pakatan coalitionPublished Jul 6th, 2009![]() Pakatan coalition still going strong I’ve not seen so many troubled reports from the Pakatan camp in such short period of time. From the sacking of a municipal councillor in Penang, the issue with the demolition of an abattoir in Kedah, Kampung Lorong Buah Pala forcible land acquisition, to the the sacking of Seberang Prai municipal councillor. Indeed this will be a test for the coalition of Opposition parties to stand firm and united, or falter. Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is leading by example, affirming the people and media that there’s no rift in the coalition. Instead he regard these problems as “minor issues” for which will be handled through dialogues.
