Anwar Gives Stern Advice to Government Officials to Buck-Up

Opposition de factor leader Anwar Ibrahim was speaking to the media regarding unusual items found under Umno president’s table and federal government conduct in the Dewan Rakyat.

As reported in a Chinese newspaper, someone had evaded the tight security on the Menara Dato’ Onn level at the Putra World Trade Centre to be able to place the item under the prime minister’s table. The strange item found was two sheets of paper with Jawi writing and a piece of wood wrapped with white paper.

The lapse in security has prompted Anwar to raises concern on the security and urged federal and state government officials to carry out their responsibilities professionally and not getting involved in any politicking and bowing to the Barisan Nasional demands.
