Anwar defamation case set for Nov 19

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim RM10 million defamation suit against Dr Chandra Muzaffar for allegedly defaming him in two local English dailies has been set for November 19th by the High Court
The suit was filed on March 6th with Anwar claiming that Dr Chandra Muzaffar had made defamatory comments on March 3rd at a forum organised by the Star Publication Berhad
The defamation was also in print where two papers, New Straits Times and The Star papers published the quotation under the article titled “Chandra breaks silence on Anwar” and “Disaster if Anwar is PM” respectively on March 5th
