12,000 New Supporters Set To Join PKRPublished Nov 16th, 2008
Some 12,000 people are set to join PKR and half of those numbers are from the supporters of Ngemah state rep Gabriel Adit. At a dinner gathering in Sibu, Sarawak saw the handing over of application forms to invited special guest Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim. PKR also had another coup when former BN and PRS Balleh division publicity chief, Beginda Minda joined PKR ranks too. Assemblyperson Adit also backed his support for Anwar as “most suitable” and “acceptable leader” to become Malaysia’s prime minister. With the state polls coming up in less than 30 months, the Opposition is growing strength to strength to mount a serious challenge of ‘overthrowing’ the ruling coalition.
